Sorry for posting this so late (it’s Sunday now)! The bicentennial celebration of the town of Washington, ME was this weekend hosted at Medomak and things got reallly busy around here. Here’s a huge lump-post of our meals on Friday:
- Crepes with lemon creme, fresh strawberries and pineapple. Andrew let me fold the crepes. They looked like…crep.
- A really exciting menu, both in color and contents.
- My fave soup, gazpacho.
- Tuna fish…yum.
- Jeff made a dill dressing for the pitas…droooooooool.
- The only thing better than fresh pitas is warm fresh pitas!
- Cheese and mayo, nothing special.
- B-e-a-utiful tomatoes and lettuce.
- This is Andrew’s MONSTROSITY (ha ha) of a lunch. Those eyes are leftover chicken nuggets.
- Menu, courtesy of moi.
- Flank steak…yum.
- Threw in some chopped mushrooms, oou la la!
- Photographic evidence of our popovers! Finally!
- Lots of roasted squash from the garden…I’m not complaining though.
- Potatoes au gratin, so crispy, so delicious. Jeff and Andrew wouldn’t let me slice any darn potatoes though, so they lacked my personal touch.
